My Gables Glory is surprisingly heat and sun tolerant for me in Central AL (8a). Still potted from my recent purchase and in direct sun from 9-2 and shows no burn. Loving this plant!

Mr Maple. Please help. I bought a young blood sapling. She was doing beautifully but recently she's limping. It's like her back has bent over and young leaves turning green. Almost wilting. I've checked the roots, they're lovely, I've now reported and fed. She's in dappled hot sunshine. I'm in UK so a lot of rain usually. I would love to save her. Please help.

I planted in the ground Seiryu, Orangeola and Atropurpureum a few years ago. They all do well in full sun in zone 7b in a dry, hot climate but Jerre Schwartz, it seems to me, does not tolerate full sun very well

Thanks for your videos, I have learned a lot. You guys saved my Japanese maples. I have 2 Emperor 1s (in full sun, zone 7 borderA/B ) which would not grow for 2 years (< 1 ft tall) until I put a sun shade cloth around them. Since shading (for 2+ yrs) are now around 40+ inches tall and outgrowing the shade cloth. The top are doing well after poking out (now 8-10 inches above the cloth). So I was think of taking the cloth away, (a) do you agree it's time and (b) should I paint the trunk (with a tree 'wound'/graft sealer product) to protect it for a year or 2? Thanks.

We just had a brutal heatwave and currently in a moderate drought, almost all my container plants have suffered but all the maples are fine and unbothered. I think Ill be using maples more going forward as the summers get hotter and drier where i live

beautiful. there's gotta be a setting that can improve the choppiness/motion blur when you are panning around. what framerate are you recording at and does your camera have motion blur settings that are enabled or something?

Guys their not exaggerating! So much beauty, history, and jaw dropping awe. One thing that struck me was the carpets of seedlings underneath those big old maples. Getting to see the amount of large pots and boxes of huge specimens of our favorites were cool too. Thanks fellers!
